SCHEDULE

Printing off shore is simple. Pre-press usually takes about 1 to 1.5 weeks starting from digital files ready to Magnum’s FTP site. High resolution proofs and blueprint will be sent to client for approval through air freight before proceed print and bind. Printing and binding lead times vary, depending on number of pages, binding method and print quantity. Shipment to U.S. East Coast, 3 weeks; West Coast, 2 weeks; Australia 14days to Melbourne and 11 days to Sydney; UK, Southampton, 23days. Custom clearance takes around 5 days after vessel arrives local port.

FOB Hong Kong, CIF Port, SIF Port, Door-to-Door Delivery (DDU)

SHIPMENT

FOB HK – delivery to Hong Kong port only.

CIF Port – means we deal with the cost of the carriage and insurance for the shipment to a specific port of entry, and the client then clears the cargo at that port, and has it shipped from the port to their location.

SIF Port – SIF includes shipment and custom clearance to port. In some case, we can also clear custom for our clients.

Door-to-door delivery – From Printer to Client office. Includes shipment, custom clearance, and inland trucking delivery service to a specific address provided by client

CUSTOMS CLEARANCE

This is a mandatory charge by all countries for imported products. Clients, who have their own custom agent, can always handle their own custom clearance issue. Otherwise, we have a list of custom agent contacts that our staff are more than happy to pass through to you. In some cases, we can handle custom clearance for our clients.

We do not recommend this however, since it must be done long distance from our main office in Hong Kong and we feel it is better that the client have a working relationship with the parties handling their cargo for maximum efficiency.

*Remember to add "Printed in Hong Kong" either on copyright page or back cover; otherwise money penalty will be imposed to publisher in some countries.
